What time is check in / check out?
You are welcome to arrive any time from 3pm onwards, please vacate your hut my 10am on day of departure.
Do you charge extra for the use of logs?
Starter pack of Logs and kindling are provided free of charge for the log burner in Max and George. Additional logs can be purchased onsite. Nero does not have a log burner, logs for the fire pit can be purchased on site.
How do we check in?
Each hut has its own key safe for self check in, you will be given the code before your arrival.
Can we bring our push bikes?
Yes! you can book one of our bike stores for free, these are located within our car park, each store has a key code padlock. Bikes are left at your own risk. (we only have 2 bike stores, please pre book)
Can we bring our pets?
Unfortunately we are unable to accept any pets on site, this is due to us having alpacas as well as various other livestock.
Do you provide bedding and towels?
Yes, your bed will be fully made ready for your arrival, we also provide towels and a bathmat.
Can we bring children?
We are exclusively for adults so can not permit anyone under the age of 18.
Do you allow guest to have day visitors?
Unfortunately not, we do not have insurance to cover any day visitors, however Anglesey has many lovely places that you can visit to meet up with family and friends during your stay.
Do you have on site parking?
Yes, each hut has one allocated space in our car park. Vehicles are left at the owners own risk.
Do you allow stag and hen parties?
Shepherds Retreat is a quiet and relaxing site, unfortunately we are unable to accept any stag or hen parties.
Can we smoke or vape on site?
We would prefer it if you didn't, if you must smoke, please use the ashtrays mounted on the fence in front of your hut. Strictly no smoking or vaping is allowed inside the huts.

We are operating under an exemption certificate from Freedom Camping Club.
